The Economic Development Company of Lancaster County posted a call to artists looking for someone to design their “Distinguished Leadership Award” This is my initial proposal I submitted.

I’ve always had a thing for ducks, only when it comes to artistic endeavors of course. I completed a sketch on a roll of 3′ paper in preparation for a possible triptych.

Additionally, I’ve discovered that the 7th seems to work out naturally for a monthly update.

I still have a few details I want to work out with these. I’m really tempted to stick with grisaille paintings.

I’m thinking I might branch off with a series called men who wear ties.

When these are dry I can move on to the next step. I kinda like where Obama is at right now though…

I have been making some small figures out of modeling clay, not sure what my plans are for them yet.
